Want to know my favorite part of traveling back home? It’s being able to eat a proper chicken wing that doesn’t taste a bit funky. Wings Over Rochester just doesn’t cut it sometimes.
Also Mighty Taco on every street corner.
And Jim’s Steak Out.
Lets not forget beef on weck either.
And a proper buffalo chicken sandwich.
Sooo much food.
Anyways, we kicked it off Thursday night at Brennan’s Bowery Bar with our good friends we know from RIT, Megalodonis (who killed it as usual). First off I want to say thanks to my friends that showed up to the gig and also to my mom who ended up bringing more people than myself. It was interesting to see their reactions to “Patient Zero” which is one of our heavier and metal-like songs.
Friday was meh. We looked for open mics but it turns out that most businesses don’t really last more than 2 years in upstate NY (what a surprise).
On Saturday we played a kick-ass party in front of an older crowd. We ended up covering some oldies like “Another One Bites the Dust”, “Smooth” by Santana, and “The Wall” by Pink Floyd. It’s not our normal sound but we had fun playing it and by the looks of it, you guys had a blast dancing to it. We greatly appreciate the tips and what was our biggest payday to date.
